Young Women's Resilience Circle

A 3-session series for high school aged young women in grades 8 and 9. This educational and connection-based group, centred on Circle principles aims to increase emotional literacy and practice what it means to communicate clearly and listen effectively in peer settings.

The group will teach young women about the nature of emotions and help them better identify a broader and richer range of feelings within themselves and in others. Participants will be introduced to the principles of Circle where they learn about sovereignty of self and others; how to hold space without feeling the need to 'fix' or 'solve' another persons feelings or experiences; how to really listen deeply and to communicate their feelings; and learn what to do if they or one of their friends are not ok.

Whilst groups are facilitated by an experienced Psychologist and Psychologist in Training, they are not group therapy and are designed for education and faciltiated connection. This is a closed group with participants attending for 3 sessions.

Fee: $250 for full 3-session series

Day: Tuesdays 4pm - 5:30pm
